Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop and implement Fortinet security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems, tailored to meet client requirements.
- Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Fortinet devices and services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor security systems, identify potential threats, and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
- Client Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to clients, resolving issues related to Fortinet products and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, changes, and incidents. Generate reports on security metrics and incident responses.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on Fortinet products and best practices in network security.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and Fortinet product updates.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Fortinet NSE 4 (minimum). NSE 5, NSE 6, or higher certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network security and Fortinet product implementation and management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and related technologies.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex security issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and with clients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
